Highlights from our Experience
June 16- July 30
Seven weeks of performances and 5,000 miles across the United States.
The Patron Project Fundraiser: The most significant success of this tour was the opportunity to bring awareness to The Patron Project nationwide. Many people signed up as a $1, $5, even $150/month patron for our struggling chronically ill receivers. We feel so honored to be a part of this work. Learn more about our cause here on our website.
The Audiences: Close to 200 total people attended our live streams and physical house concerts in 10 locations from Maryland to Utah, New Mexico to North Carolina. Some people drove 5-6 hours to attend! Our hearts are so warm with all the laughing and hugs and new sincerely real friends we made.
Support for The Musicians: From our 17 sponsors, to the purchases of my original watercolor paintings, to album sales and cash donations at the event, you came together and fully covered the expenses of the tour. For this being our first time doing this, we truly could not be more touched and grateful.
One Conclusion Word to Describe This Tour: After years of being housebound, feeling desperately lonely and financially destitute from the horrors of my chronic illness, this summer has been a liberating dream come true. We are feeling healthy, purposeful, and aligned with the most authentic versions of ourselves. When people have asked how it went there is only one succinct way I want to describe it. "It was absolutely PERFECT."
What's next for Jason and Emily: We are already dreaming of our next tour (n the New England area), but for now we are resting, gardening, writing new songs, and eating lots of fruit barefoot in our backyard.
